OUR PROCESS

A Proven, Precise Fulfilment Process in E-Commerce Designed to Scale

Step 1

Goods-in

All incoming goods are unloaded, either as cartons or pallets. The delivery is then inspected and sorted ready for inbound. It will occupy a dedicated receipt lane until recorded in our warehouse management system and located in storage. We will work with you to ensure that your suppliers present your stock in the most efficient fashion for this process to be as cost effective as possible.

Step 2

Inventory Management

At Pro FS we utilise a Geek+ Robotics System offering high-density storage that lessens the risk of dust contamination and theft. As totes within the system become low on stock, we can trigger a rapid check to ensure continuous stock integrity. This is a very efficient way of delivering rolling stock counts. 

Step 3

Order Picking

As orders arrive in our WMS, they are batched to ensure greatest picking efficiency. The orders are then sent automatically to the Geek+ Robotics System, and the process of bringing the stock to the pickers begins. Not only is this more efficient, but it also ensures that the risk of errors is kept to a minimum.

Step 4

Order Packing

Orders at the Pro FS warehouse are packed manually. Ability to scan each product again at this stage helps minimize errors. After years of research and careful evaluation, we believe that fully automated packing lines could pose a single point of failure. That’s why we chose to entrust our dedicated team delivering on-time dispatch every day.

Step 5

Shipping

We work with wide range of shipping partners. Whilst we do have suppliers who we might recommend, we always allow the ultimate choice of carrier to sit with you. Your options will vary in cost, tracking visibility and speed of delivery. Unlike some of our competitors, who are owned by postal businesses, we empower you, our client, to decide who carries your orders.

Step 6

Returns

Returned goods are examined and either prepared for resale and returned to stock within the Geek+ Robotics system or placed into quarantine. We offer a range of return carrier options, which can be discussed and chosen to suit you and your customers’ needs.

Order Picking

As orders flow into our WMS, they’re intelligently batched for maximum picking efficiency. Orders route automatically to the Geek+ Robotics System, which brings stock directly to pickers, eliminating wasted movement and drastically reducing error rates. This robotics-driven order fulfilment process ensures speed, accuracy, and scalability as your business grows.

Step 4

Order Packing

Every order at Pro FS is packed with care by our dedicated team. Products are rescanned at this stage to minimise errors and ensure quality control. While fully automated packing lines exist, we’ve chosen a hybrid approach that eliminates single points of failure. Our team delivers reliable, on-time dispatch every day, a cornerstone of Pro FS order fulfilment services.

Step 5

Shipping

We partner with a wide range of shipping carriers, but the final choice is always yours. Unlike 3PL competitors owned by postal businesses, we remain carrier-neutral, enabling you to select the optimal balance of cost, tracking visibility, and delivery speed. Step 6

Returns

Returned goods are examined and either prepared for resale and reintegrated into our Geek+ Robotics system or placed into quarantine for further action. We offer flexible return carrier options that can be tailored to suit both your operational needs and your customers’ expectations, completing the order fulfilment process with the same care it began.
