Professional Fulfilment Services Ltd (Pro FS) have recently become the proud occupiers of a 117,000 sq. ft. warehouse facility in Milton Keynes, in the heart of a golden logistics triangle. 

Moving from their previous premises in Bedford, their new state-of-the-art facility at G-Park, overlooking Willen Lake offers over 5,000,000 cubic feet of usable space, fully utilising the 45ft eves height for storage capacity and the latest is automation technology. 

The building is equipped with impressive sustainability credentials including a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating and is both WELL-ready and Planet Mark certified. From low energy LED lighting and solar panels to EV charging points and bicycle stores, the warehouse offers a positive sustainable footprint for their rapidly growing fulfilment operations alongside an inspiring environment-focused facility, with the emphasis firmly on enhancing the well-being and productivity of its valued staff.

Their third-party logistics operations are 100% powered by zero carbon electricity supply, backed by electricity from renewable energy sources. Streamlined operations utilise recycled fittings and eco (plastic-free/reduced) packaging is company-sourced ensuring 100% of any waste produced is recycled. Solar energy generation is in place as well as rainwater harvesting for non-potable usage, and the whole building is monitored by environment analytics to ensure its high sustainability credentials are maintained.

Pro FS are extending their commitment to sustainability across their fulfilment operations, with significant investment in warehouse automation. The deployment of Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) will not only support their drive for greener logistics but will also dramatically enhance operational efficiency for their growing customer base.
